Jevgenija Kučuna - head of the management information system (MIS) unit at the Central Financing and Contracting agency. The Central Finance and Contracting Agency (CFCA) is a direct management institution subordinated to the Minister of Finance. The MIS unit is directly responsible for the development and implementation of the e-cohesion solution for structural funds, the Cohesion fund and the Recovery and Resilience Facility.

I started my career as an intern at the Audit authority back in 2012. After graduating the Riga Technical University with a professional bachelor degree in the Management of the International Economic Relations I joined the EU funds Managing authority as a senior expert. After three years I moved to the CFCA's MIS unit as a senior expert to focus on the development of the Cohesion Policy Information System's (CPMIS) forms for irregularities and payment requests to the EC. In 2018 I assumed the position of the deputy head of the MIS unit.

I've been leading the unit since may 2022. Currently our main focus is transition into the new planning period and making major improvements in the system's usability.
