Rūta Dapkutė-Stankevičienė is a former Director of the Investment Department of the Ministry of Finance of Lithuania, which is acting as the Managing Authority for the 2014-2020 and 2021-2027 Cohesion policy funds, Recovery and Resilience Facility, Just Transition Fund, Brexit Adjustment Reserve and other programmes. Following the successful completion of the programming of 2021-2027 investments and national Recovery and Resilience Plan, in 2022 she came to work in Brussels as a Cohesion Policy Attaché. Rūta has been working on various Cohesion policy matters for already 19 years - programming, implementation, monitoring, reporting, setup of financial instruments, transformation of the management and control system. During the last years management and control system for Cohesion policy instruments in Lithuania has been significantly remodeled in terms of its structure, number of institutions, functions and capacity.
During her career, Rūta was also a member of several Cohesion policy groups and networks, a board member of national promotional institutions (NPIs), was involved in the development of reform for strategic planning, reform for sustainable development of financial markets, concept of NPI‘s consolidation, etc.
Her academic background is political science and law.
